For CI/CD deployments, Microsoft provides a pre- and post-deployment script pattern that stops triggers before deployment and starts them afterward. The current guidance also includes a version that targets only modified triggers instead of stopping every trigger.

Stopping all triggers is useful for maintenance, but for CI/CD consider Microsoft’s pre/post-deployment script that can stop and restart only the triggers affected by the deployment.
